How To Use?
Step 1:
- Take a warm bath or shower for at leastfive minutes to soften the skin.
- Avoid using any soaps, shower gels, or similar products as the glove relies on direct friction with the skin.
Step 2:
- Wet your glove and wring the glove out.
- Move yourself out of the water. Avoid drying yourself off and make sure that your skin remains moist.
- Begin to rub the glove up and down your body using long and firm strokes.
- Be extra gentle on your sensitive areas. You may notice your skin start to peel after a few minutes. If this happens, avoid rinsing the peeling skin off your body as these skin particles will aid in further exfoliation.
Step 3:
- Once you have achieved your desired level of exfoliation, rinse your body with water to wash away the skin particles.
- Dry yourself off and apply your favorite body oil or moisturizer.
Step 4:
- Hand wash your glove using natural soap and hang your glove to air dry.
- Repeat your exfoliating ritual once a week.

Are you supposed to exfoliate or shave first?
You should exfoliate your skin prior to shaving as exfoliating first will help prevent the razor from becoming overloaded with dead skin cells which can clog your razor and make it less effective.
When you use your SilkScrub glove, you are removing dead skin cells and dirt, leaving you with extremely soft and clean skin.
If you're prone to ingrown hairs, then you definitely want to be using SilkScrub exfoliating gloves before you shave (ideally the day before you shave). Exfoliating before you shave is a serious pro tip for a closer shave!
Can I Use My SilkScrub On My Face?
Yes, our SilkScrub is made using our most delicate weave of plant-based fabric, which can also be used on the face.
How Often Can I Use It?
We recommend using it 1-2x per week and replacing the glove every 6 weeks. However if you would like you can use it once a day but you will find out you won't need it that often.
